The precious material was included in the gifts that the three Magi offered to Baby Jesus at his birth. Thousands of years ago, In ancient Egypt, the Middle East, and India it was believed that burning incense drove out evil spirits, and still to this day it is most commonly used in religious ceremonies.
The country of Oman is known for producing the highest quality of Frankincense.This incense is produced from the Boswellia Sacra species from Oman, specifically the Royal classification, which is recognized as the finest Frankincense. Reflection is the completion of the creator's lifelong quest to create the highest quality of incense. It helps to stabilize the mind and body allowing one to breathe comfortably, leaving a soft and sweet lingering impression in the atmosphere.
유향은 성경에 언급되어 있을 정도로 역사가 깊다.
아기 예수가 탄생했을 때, 동방박사가 경배하고 드렸던 예물에 포함되었을만큼 귀한 재료이기도하다.
수천 년 전부터 고대 이집트인들과 중동, 인도에서는 유향을 피우면 악령을 쫓아낸다고 믿었으며, 현재까지도 종교 의식에 가장 많이 사용된다.
유향 중에서도 최고로 여기는 것은 오만(Oman) 산이다.
제작자는 오만산중 Boswellia sacra 종(種), 그 중에서도 품질이 최상급으로 분류되는 Royal Frankincense를 사용하였다.
