The IMPERFECT series is a witty embodiment of the paradox within the conception of perfection. A state of perfection is not the final destination in furniture design. The designer embarks on a journey to discover the potential of its incomplete state.
This item is a result of the collaboration between the creative director, Ledongil and Oh Sang-Won. LeDongil delivers his message through quirky, abstract, and sculptural forms; Oh SangWon’s contribution lies in its rugged surface by manipulating texture.
Imperfect 시리즈는 '완벽성'을 경계적 관점에서 바라보며, 이에 대한 잠재적 힌트를 위트 있게 제시한다.완벽을 지향하는 가구 디자인의 세계에서 불완전함을 의도한 조작을 통해 질문을 던지며, 시각적 환기를 유도한다.완벽한 형태를 지양하는 기형화 작업을 통해 자신의 메시지를 전달하는 디자이너 르동일과 손으로 종이의 텍스처를 변형하여 작업하는 오상원 작가의 콜라보레이션으로 만들어진 가구 시리즈.
